Bangalore, Nov 15: The 130 participants for the Bangalore Mariapolis were gathered in the beautiful
premises of the Camillian Pastoral Centre, Sarjapura here for a four-day programme held, recently.
The theme being ‘God’s Immense love’, they composed a mosaic of ages, walks of life, cultures and origins. Some participants arrived from Chennai and Chidambaram, as well as from Trichy and Trivandrum. For many, the days of the Mariapolis have been the discovery of God’s Love, for others a deeper insight into it.
Many highlighted the opportunity given by Chiara’s charism “to live it out and feel God’s Love, more than
talking about it!” The themes were an occasion to grow together in this discovery, but the same happened
during the workshops, games, and also during the sharing in the group meetings. In fact this communion encouraged and threw light on the daily life situations. Others were touched by the possibility of “translating everything into “God loves me”.
The extraordinary life of Chiara Luce in her simplicity, has touched the adults and children, and strongly fascinated the teens and the youth, and among them, one who was present at her beatification, shared his deep experience. The dynamic presence of the Gen3, Gen4 and Gen5 was very important, and the
numerous families appreciated the fact of being able to participate together, as a wider family, in building the reality of the Mariapolis.
