Mangalore: Two-day Tuluva Uchchaya Begins

Mangalore, Nov 14: Tuluva Uchchaya, a two-day multi-event Tulu cultural programme began at Ambika Annapoorneshwari Temple premises, Sunkadakatte here in the outskirts of the city on Saturday November 13.

Organized by the Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy and Tulu Uchchaya Samiti of Sunkadakatte and other organisations, the event will showcase folk and traditional forms of culture of the region. Also a variety entertainment programmes will also be held during the programme.

The talks on various aspects of the social life of Tulunadu are also organized, stated Chandrahas Rai B, registrar of the academy in a press release.
