Moodbidri, Nov 14: Deepavali, the first of lights was celebrated showcasing cultural grandeur at the Sundari Anand Alva campus, Vidyagiri here, recently.
The inauguration too took place as per Tulu folklore tradition by conducting a puja for the folk and agricultural equipment. Charukeerti Bhattaraka Swamiji of Jain Mutt and Alva's Education Foundation chairman Dr M Mohan Alva inaugurated the celebration.
As part of the cultural programme to mark the Deepavali joy various traditional dance performances by various student troupes were performed. The celebration was held under the aegis of the Alva's Education Foundation.
