Mangalore: Awareness Programme on Heart, Lifestyle, Technology Held for MCF Staff

Mangalore, Nov 13: An awareness programme on "Heart, Lifestyle & Technology" was conducted for MCF employees at the factory premises, recently.

Dr B V Manjunath Chief interventional cardiologist, A J Hospital was the resource person. Dr K Yogish, chief medical officer, MCF Ltd,  introduced the guest speaker and gave brief introduction about the programme. Sunil Kulkarni, general manager (production) presided.

Dr B V Manjunath discussed in detail about the causes for the heart diseases, its symptoms, tests to be done and the proper management for best results.He stressed the importance of proper diet, exercise, healthy lifestyle and regular check-up for
preventing these disorders. He explained the latest technologies available for treating heart ailments.

Employees actively participated in the programme in large numbers and interacted with the doctor. Bhaskar Arasa of A J Hospital
coordinated the programme.
