Udupi: Two Bike Riders Die After Colliding With Lorry

Udupi, Nov 14: In an accident that occurred at Muloor on national highway 17 near Kaup on the night of Friday November 13, two motor bike-born youth were killed, after their vehicle hit a lorry. They have been identified as Mohammed Imtiaz (26) from Mukka and Masood (25) from Bada Yermal.

The two work for a construction company in Mangalore. They were returning in a motor bike after meeting a friend in Kaup, when a lorry moving from Mangalore towards Udupi hit them.

Mohammed Imtiaz lost his life on the spot. Masood breathed his last while being taken to hospital. Immediately after the incident, the driver of the lorry drove away his vehicle, without bothering to take care of the victims. A case has been registered in Kaup police station. Investigation is on.
