Udupi, Nov 9: T A Pai Management Institute conducted a 5 km marathon against Drugs on Sunday November 7.
The marathon was held as an opening event of BrandScan the biggest market research fair in India. Dr. Rajesh Bhaktha, sports secretary, KMC flagged open the marathon at MJC Grounds.
“The most awaited event of Manipal, BrandScan provides an ideal platform for the students of the schools and colleges in and around Manipal, Udupi and Mangalore to display their talents. By saying No to drugs TAPMI has showed it’s concern towards those millions of people who die every year due to drug abuse.” Dr Rajesh Bhaktha.
“When there is much more to life than a dungeon of lifeless mirages, when there is much more to pleasure than the poison that erodes you, why travel to that unknown path. Well, this is the thought that has provocated us, the TAPMIans to rage a call and ask the world to “Say No to Drugs!” said Abhishek Agarwal, convenor, BrandScan.
“With its unbeatable plethora of events, the platform of learning through market research projects for the students and excitement and entertainment for all the visitors, BrandScan is all geared up to a new benchmark of success as it awaits the completion of 200 projects this year," said Prof Srivatsa H S, associate professor, TAPMI.
