Udupi, Nov 9: Rastreeya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) will be organizing protest demonstrations in all the district headquarters of the state against what it terms as the central government’s conspiracy to make false allegations and hoist fictitious cases against prominent Hindu leaders. These protests will be staged at 11 am on Wednesday November 10.
Mangalore Vibhag Sanch Chalak of RSS, Prof M B Puranik, city Sangh Chalak, Damodar Nisarga, Udupi district Sangh Chalak, T Shambhu Shetty, Meenar Padmanabh Shetty from Kasargod, and M C Kariyappa from Kodagu district, gave this information. They said that in addition to RSS activists, well-wishers and like-minded organizations will also participate in these protests. RSS has said that the protests are planned to drive home the fact that vote bank politics has been working behind the Congress party’s conspiracy to sully the image of RSS and other patriotic organizations by linking Hindutva ideology with terrorist-related activities that are both cruel and inhuman.
RSS has said that it condemns attempts being made to link its leader, Indresh Kumar, with incidents of bomb blasts. It has reminded the government about its past attempts to defame Hindu leaders like Kanchi Shankaracharya, Baba Ramdev, Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur, Mata Amritanandamayi etc. It has warned that such efforts will get a fitting reply through the combined Hindu might.
