CM to Lay Foundation for Proposed Murra-Sampya Fourlane

Puttur, Nov 7: District in-charge minister Krishna J Palemar said that Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa will lay the foundation stone for the proposed Murra–Sampya fourlane costing Rs 19 crore here on November
17.

The renovation work of state highway between Madikeri- Mani has been taken up by KRDCL. Accordingly, 8 km stretch which passes through Puttur Township limits will be converted into a fourlane as demanded
by the township authority. An outline of the proposed project has already been drafted, he added.

CM will attend the ‘Bhagyalaxmi Samavesha’ scheduled to be held at the platform being readied at the field in front of the Mahalingeshwara temple here. In all 11,987 women will be distributed sarees and
distribution of bonds to 12,983 girl children will be held on the occasion.

He will also inaugurate the Convention Hall of Sthree Shatki Group apart from laying foundation stones for bridges on Jalakada Hole-Kote Gudde road worth Rs 38 lac and Pajapalla-Kaanchodu road worth Rs 36
