Mangalore: Fraudster Sheriff Remanded in Police Custody Till Nov 9

Mangalore, Nov 7: Fraudster broker Ibrahim Shareef who was arrested by city police on Saturday November 6, has been remanded in police custody for three days.

According to police, the arrested was produced before the Magistrate who remanded him to police custody for three days till Tuesday Nov 9.
 
After his arrest near KSRTC bus stand in Mudigere at around 7:15 am, Shareef was brought to Mangalore at 11:00 am.  He was produced before a Judge after the completion of formalities on Saturday evening.
 
Sharief, who was absconding since October 5, is facing the charges of defrauding people in the guise of a rental property broker. Over 30 families had claimed to have been deceived by him. He has neither paid the rent for the houses nor returned the deposit amount which he had promised earlier.
