Mangalore: Rain Alert Plays Festive Dampener

Daijiworld Media Network – Mangalore (PS/SB)

Mangalore, Nov 6: Heavy rainfall alert has been predicted by the meteorological department over the weekend due to a depression that has formed over South East Bay of Bengal and centred at 5.30 am on Thursday November 5.

In this backdrop, the people who were in jovial mood of festival are disappointed. The depression is expected to strengthen in to a cyclonic circulation.

This may cause heavy rain in coastal Karnataka. Thus people have been asked to be prepared to face any eventualities.
