Mangalore Corporation Bank Observes Vigilance Awareness Period

Mangalore, Nov 3: Corporation Bank observed Vigilance Awareness period from October 25 to November 1 as directed by the Central Vigilance Commission.

The valedictory function of the Vigilance Awareness Period was held at Corporate Office of the bank in the city. Ramnath Pradeep, chairman and managing director of the bank presided. Pratap Reddy, IPS, director-Cyber Security, NASSCOM, was the chief guest.

Asit Pal, executive director, Sajeev Krishnan, general manager and chief vigilance offficer, other general managers and employees of the bank participated in the function.

The Central Vigilance Commission advised the banks to consider having a dedicated toll-free hotline number to receive complaints against corruption. 

Ramnath Pradeep, chairman & managing director of the bank inaugurated the toll-free hotline number - 1800-425-3567 on the occasion.

K V Bhat, the assistant general manager, Vigilance Division, proposed the vote of thanks.
