Udupi, Oct 22: “As the fuel price is increasing, our government is trying to make attempts for alternative arrangements. Now the nation is going through tough times. The union government is taking several measures from time to time in order to improve the situation that is prevailing in the country,” said Raghupati Bhat, MLA of Udupi constituency.

Bhat further said, “The public is facing difficulty due to the constant increase in the prices of diesel and petrol. We are not denying this fact. The tax that is paid by the citizens of the country is safe with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It is used for the control of Covid situation in the country. People have to have faith in the government. The citizens of the country should have faith that the country is in the safe hands of a person. It is impossible to imagine what would have happened had the country been under the rule of immature Rahul Gandhi.

“The government is facing financial distress due to Covid. In order to overcome the losses, the government is bringing in reforms. However, it takes some time.

“Leaders of opposition parties created false propaganda when the vaccination drive against coronavirus was started. Citizens also got scared. However, when there Covid cases were more, they protested that the vaccine was out of stock. None of the opposition leaders have worked in the mainstream of Covid. They were in home quarantine for 60 days. They were criticising the government on Twitter and Facebook,” he said.
