Oct 13: 35 new corona cases in DK, one death; Udupi adds 16 infections

Mangaluru/Udupi,Oct 13: Dakshina Kannada on Wednesday , October 13 reported 35 new coronavirus cases. The case positivity rate for the district stands at 0.41%.

As per the district health bulletin, a total of 19,72,747 samples have been tested so far, out of which 18,57,793 have turned out to be negative.

The total number of positive cases in the district has risen to 1,14,954 out of which 378 are currently active.

As many as 61 patients were discharged from hospitals on Wednesday, taking the total number of recoveries to 112902.

The death in the district on Wednesday is 1. The death toll in the district so far stands at 1,674.

The district administration has collected Rs 1,07,13,670 in fines for 88,209 mask violations.

Udupi

As per the district health bulletin, as many as 11,71,958 samples have been tested for the second wave of coronavirus.

As many as 16 new cases were reported on Wednesday, taking the total number of cases to 76,543 out of which 81 are currently active.

A total of 18 patients were discharged from hospitals on Wednesday, taking the total number of recoveries to 75,988 for the second wave.
