This ambitious project of the town panchayat is likely to provide a permanent relief to the long-pending problem of waste disposal. Under the scheme, waste is burnt by using a gasification machine. This machine is environment friendly and the gas and ashes which we get after disposing of waste can be recycled or reused.
The burning machine has been installed at a cost of about Rs 40 lac. The machine can burn 150 kg waste in an hour. Sulla town produced over a tonne of garbage every day.
