Mangaluru Sep 30: “The BJP say Congress has Taliban culture. Nalin Kumar Kateel called Siddaramaiah a terrorist. In reality, the BJP’s culture is equal to Talibanis. The demolition of temple at Mysuru displayed that to all,” said district Congress president Harish Kumar and MLA U T Khader.
Addressing media here on Thursday September 30, Harish Kumar said, “Mysuru tahsildar was transferred over temple demolition. How can a tahsildar issue demolition orders without any notification from the government? During the Congress’ tenure, nothing like demolition of temple took place. In the name of God, BJP have come to power and sought votes from the public. Demolishing temples is equal to Taliban culture. BJP have no belief in Hindutva, but only uses Hindus for votes and to come to power.
“MP Nalin Kumar termed Siddaramaiah as a terrorist. We strongly condemn it. BJP has no moral right to point fingers at Congress leaders. The murders of Deepak Poojary, Harish Poojary, Sharath Madivala and Paresh Mesta occurred during the time of elections. We all know how BJP took mileage out of Harish Poojary murder. None of the Congress leaders are involved in any murders.
“The murderers of RTI activist Vinayak Baliga are roaming free. Everyone knows who the murderers are. Attack on medical students, pub and church all shows terrorist and Talibani culture. BJP’s culture is Taliban culture. We can see their leaders in temple idol theft and murders,” said Harish Kumar.
“We condemn the derogatory comments on Congress leaders by Nalin Kumar Kateel. There has to be stringent policy and action if any student gets attacked. Who are these to attack students? Who gave them the right to do attack others? questioned Khader.
