Tashkent (Uzbekistan), Oct 15 (IANS) Commonwealth Games gold medallist and second-seeded Indian Somdev Devvarman crashed out of the second round of the $125,000 Tashkent Challenger tennis with a 4-6, 6-7(3) loss to Canada's Milos Raonic.
The 20-year-old Canadian, ranked 155, sent down 17 aces to halt the run of 95th-ranked Somdev here Thursday.
Raonic broke Somdev in the fifth game to take the first set. He carried the momentum in the second set, breaking the Indian in the third game but Somdev broke back immediately.
Somdev had to be content with 10 points and $2,150.
