Kadaba, Sep 9: Sanjay Krishna from Balleri in Noojibalthila village, who had been arrested and taken to Kolkata by the West Bengal police on the basis of a complaint filed by a young lady of Kolkata origin studying in Bengaluru, has secured bail.

Sanjay had been charged with uploading of the photograph of the said lady on a social website. The court at Kolkata granted him bail on Tuesday September 7. He had been arrested from Kadaba on September 4 on the basis of an arrest warrant issued by a court in 24 Parganas, West Bengal. He was produced in Puttur court but was denied bail there. He was then taken to West Bengal.

Sanjay's family sources stated that he has secured bail now. He is facing the charge of uploading the photograph of Sulaghna Roy Choudhary, a resident of Kolkata and pursuing medical degree in Bengaluru. As the lady filed a complaint in West Bengal court, his arrest warrant was issued by that court.
