Mangaluru, Sep 2: MLA U T Khader termed the BJP-led state and central government as an ‘expensive’ government.
Addressing media here on Thursday September 2, Khader said, “The price of petroleum products are being increased every now and then. The common man is under the burden of rising prices of essential commodities. The government is looting people during the pandemic. For the sake of ‘Acche Din’, how much people have to spend from their pocket? The government should clarify when people will really have ‘Acche Din’.
“The MP and MLAs has no concern towards people. When there is rise in the prices of petroleum products, there will increase in the prices of other commodities as well. A handful of Indians are in the top richest persons’ list in the world. Did they top the list on their own or with the help of the central government in last seven years? The government should not burden the public. The UPA government did not burden people with inflation. If people lose patience, they will come down to the streets and protest against the government,” he said.
