Mangaluru, Aug 15: St Vincent Ferrer Church, Valencia celebrated 75th Independence Day at the church grounds.

Flag hoisting ceremony was held and the chief guest for the ceremony was Simon CA Superintendent of Police western range Anti-Corruption Bureau. After hoisting the flag he addressed the gathering. He stressed on to have love towards the nation and Patriotic spirit should be built within the youngsters.

Patrick DSouza compered the program.

Fr Roque D’Sa, Fr Lancy Dsouza Asst, Parish council vice president David Pais and secretary Rita Menezes. Former vice-president Anil Lobo and Secretary Lizzie pinto were also present.
