The only way to control the peacock nuisance is by introducing a food chain in the area and stop deforestation. Peacocks come out of their habitat because their natural space is diminishing and they have no natural predators. We cannot hunt them not only because it is illegal but because its meat is not tender and parasitic. We need to relocate them into reserve parks or repopulate jackals, vultures, leapord cats and stripe-necked mongooses to the area to push them back to higher plains or ghats.

All you so-called "Environmentalists" can go for a petition with Greta Thunberg......If you are showing sympathy to the bird only, what about the deceased, who maybe someone's brother, someone's son, or his family's breadwinner?????? Stop thinking so selfish and go enjoy your lockdown....If you still feel so bad for these birds and animals, go be environmentalists and save the world... Let me see how courageous are you to initiate small steps towards fauna conservationism...Think about the flora as well.

Accidents happened - a bird hit can bring down the entire air craft killing 100s of passengers and it has happened . that does'nt mean all the eagles in the sky must be killed. Now this incidents has happened and the person have died. we must plan how to device to save life as well as save the life of every fauna. it was not the peacock which killed the person but, the impact of speed and fall which killed him. if the peacock had flied over a walking or a running person there wouldn't be death of person or the bird ? there are more accidents on road due to careless drivers and bad roads. So, all the victims who died were also brothers and sisters of someone.

Birds are a big hazard . They can crack windshield ,destroy planes and hit helmets. A small sparrow can crack a helmet if rides is going fast. Poor guy. May his soul rest in peace. Government should give compensation in case of wild animal attacks.

Now don’t kill them - it’s one rare sad incident happened . These poor majestic animals are thrown out of their abode due to Human greed . Now don’t chase them away . The people who are complaining about crop damage are not cultivating anything . I have cultivated record qty of Rice , Water Melon , Ladies finger , Tauthe , and Long beans in the field this year. There was enough qty left for me to harvest despite some consumed by these beautiful animals. Grow more fruit bearing trees for these animals all over . Animals eat for hunger not for greed - it’s easy to take care of of them . RIP to Abdulla , our prayers are with his family .

Considering the encroachment humans have done in forest/hills region, this was bound to happen. Animals/birds were breeding at their pace and were victims of the food chain in their own territory. They never trespassed humans but it's the other way round. The death of the rider is unfortunate but blaming peacock menace is not correct.

This earth belongs to all. If human thinks, the earth belongs to only to them, then obviously the nature will prove human thinking is wrong.

NHAI, shud think of having separate "lanes" for birds, dogs, cows, cats, rats and even the 'bolpus'. That way, all Gods creatures will be safe.

There is no corrective measure because it's simple logic. Formerly the wild animals used to be in the forests. Now when people are converting forests into living habitats, naturally will they come into the cities. Learn to live with nature while it's around you. Later you'll regret destroying it.
