Udupi: Vishala Ganiga murder case – Heading towards unexpected twist?

Daijiworld Media Network – Udupi (MS/HB)

Udupi, Jul 19: Murder case of Vishala Ganiga, resident of Uppinakote, which has created sensation in the district, is completing a week. However, the police department is saying that the investigation is in progress and does not give any conclusive answer. So why the police are not able to crack the case? Whether any twist that is not connected directly to the act will unfold?

Four teams were formed soon after murder under the leadership of SP Vishnuvardhan. However, now six to seven special police teams are working to get into the depth of the murder. Police are on the hunt for the possible suspects in the neighbouring states also. According to sources, two contract killers are arrested and being brought to Udupi.

Vishala Ganiga

The murder case is taking different twists and turns. The first incriminating evidence were the two tea cups. According to one source, the people who had come to the flat might be close ones known to Vishala. She never used to allow any strangers inside the flat. Then how did the murder take place? There is a possibility that two people might have visited her flat. In addition, all the gold that was with Vishala was not burgled. So the question arises whether the gold was removed from her body to mislead the investigation?

Why Vishala, who had to go to her husband’s house in Gujjadi after completing bank work, went to Uppinakote apartment again? What was the emergency? Did the killers approached her knowing that CCTV is not available in the building where she owns a flat?

The first person who was subjected to inquiry after the murder is the auto-rickshaw driver who dropped her to the apartment. He is well known to deceased Vishala. When they observed his behaviour, police have come to know, prima facie, that there is no connection to the murder and him. However, it cannot be ignored totally.

Whether her husband got Vishala killed?

Deceased Vishala used to look after the real estate business of her husband Ramakrishna Ganiga, in the town. He has come down for her final rites. SP Vishnuvardhan is personally interrogating him. As his responses are not proper, he is subjected to intense interrogation as per sources. This leads to doubt whether Ramakrishna got his wife killed by offering contract to the contract killers? It is expected that inquiry of this case will reach last stage in another two days.

Whether the police department is delaying the case to arrive at a logical conclusion as they have got many new twists and turns in the case? Whether answer will be provided to the Vishala Ganiga murder case in another two days? Will this murder take unexpected turn than the normal conclusion that Vishal was killed for material gain or gain of assets? Only time will tell.

As it seems there is a political flavour in this case. Highly likely the husband may get a ministerial position for his exceptional skills.
