Bantwal, Jul 14: Party workers of BJP and Congress engaged in a scuffle after they gathered to hold a protest over different issues at Kavalakatte here on Wednesday, July 14.

Congress party workers had gathered opposing the Kavala Mooduru gram panchayat's decision to hike water and property tax.

Better to fight against price hike with mutual support then only you can solve or find a solution benefitting all. Must remember that, united you stand and divided you will be flat.

Flavian, Mangalore/Kuwait Price hike is need of the day. Because, India is still very very cheap as per world standard. More price means more tax money. More tax money means more development. Enough blue collar jobs are still available in India, even I am finding difficulty in getting workers despite ready to pay Rs. 20000/- per month (stay and food free) because the workers dont like agriculture work and they are happy with free rice, free daal...... If price hike happens, I am sure I will get workers and I can add value in the form of GDP of our beloved country.
