Mangaluru, Jul 5: Thieves broke into MapleX, the exclusive showroom for Apple products, located at Balmatta here and decamped with items approximately worth Rs 70 lac. The incident came to light on Monday July 5.
Thieves broke into the store and stole iPhones worth Rs 70 lac.
The matter came to light on Monday morning when the staff of the showroom reported to work. The police visited the spot and took necessary action.
It may be recalled, thieves had barged into the premium showroom back in 2015 and decamped with items approximately worth Rs 20 lac. Later, three persons of Nepal origin were arrested in connection with the theft.
