Bantwal: Group of four stabs man at Vittal, personal enmity suspected

Bantwal, Jul 4: A group of four people allegedly stabbed a man at Kadumath of Kolnadu village under the limits of Vittal police station here on the night of Saturday June 3.

The injured youth has been identified as Abdul Harris (29).

He has been admitted to community health centre in Vittal.

Harris has filed a complaint against Avinash, Vineeth, Dinesh, and another unidentified person, all residents of Kadumath, for stabbing and attacking him.

It is said that Harris was attacked and stabbed on his back by the group while he was returning to his residence from Salethur. Also, the accused allegedly threatened Harris.

The attack was motivated by an old enmity between the accused and the victim, it is said.

Sources said that Harris was recently booked under POCSO Act for sexually harassing a minor.
