Bengaluru: State aims to vaccinate all within next two months - Revenue minister R Ashok

Daijiworld Media Network – Bengaluru (MS)

Bengaluru, Jul 4: "Every individual must get vaccinated in order to defeat Covid. The state government is aiming to vaccinate all within the next two months. We will establish ward level vaccination centrers at Padmanabhanagar shortly. We have to help the needy during these difficult times as much as we can," said revenue minister R Ashok.

Ashok was speaking at a programme held at Padmanabhanagar in the city on Saturday, July 3.

He further said, “This is the very reason why I did not celebrate my birthday. Instead of garlands and cake, the need of the hour is to provide food kits to the financially poor people in the society.

"We are distributing food kits to six to seven thousand houses everyday for the past one and a half month. We also opened a Covid control room. Covid patients of my constituency have got free vaccination and oxygen concentrators. Now the experts are warning of a possible third wave of Covid. That is why we are going to open a hospital for children in Padmanabhanagar. Very good treatment will be provided in this hospital. In addition, I also request everyone to take vaccination against Covid.

“Many people who lost their family members due to Covid did not claim their mortal remains. Some got scared. So we decided to carry out their final rites. I have completed the religious programme which took more than three hours. Many, including my wife, were scared. But I firmly believed that it is my duty. I will have to partake in one more religious programme. For that sake I will visit Vishnu Pada of Kerala or Varanasi soon.”

Minister Ashok also lauded the efforts of Asha workers and doctors during the Covid pandemic. He also said that the state government is offering Rs one lac compensation for BPL card holder family members of those who died of Covid.

First of all- ONE SIZE SHOE DOESN'T FIT ALL. No vaccines will work against mutating viruses like corona which they haven't proven to prevent infection or provide protection other than company propaganda repeated often by politicians and doctors with partial twisted data. Secondly no state can forcibly inoculate its people which is illegal. The real procedure to prove vaccine efficacy at trial stage is by first isolating the alleged virus and culture them in a sterilized labs, then infect animals or volunteers with them to find out whether they cause infections and study the same with vaccinated group, no vaccine company has done this as they never have the human corona virus isolated. I request the minister to prove vaccine efficacy by testing for antibodies in recipients of vaccines as well as recovered patients and infect them with corona virus again to prove vaccines work or natural immunity works (but they can't do it as they don't have the virus). For this reason I state the pandemic is a hoax with fake tests and asymptomatic spreading the virus fake narrative. Nobody has proven people died due to covid but can only state as they died with corona just like other 120000 viruses with them. A conspiracy like events are taking place in UK and Europe , no corona patients in ICU in those countries but they are resorting to lockdowns by creating fear about Delta Variants. Global Reset is the only explanation that is logical. Coming to the statement of minister the govt seems to end corona mania by taking vaccine cover by claiming it prevented 3rd wave or defeated it by vaccinating until then they would enforce useless mandates like masks and keeping the fear intact. Otherwise people will take govt to task for causing economical and psychological trauma for a pandemic hoax.

It is very important for government to ensure vaccine equity and Make sure everyone eligible gets a dose, the covaxin vs covisheild debate is politicised, this is not good for secularism and national integration. Private citizens should be allowed to buy /manufacture Pfizer vaccine, there is large industrial capacity in bykampady for this purpose. Local YMCA can help in distribution to keep our community safe using the Pfizer vaccine and then distribute left over vaccines to other community for secularism.

Vaccine manufacturing at Baikampady? Vaccine production is not like Kara kaddi manufacturing facility. It needs Bio safety level (BSL) 3 or above facility and careful planning spanning over at least one year needing skilled scientists and engineers.

I agree with you , vaccine is becoming new ground to assault federal structure and secular fabric of Indian constituency. Local manufacturing of faizer vaccine can be enabled at baikampady as it has a Bharat serums level 3 capacity there. This helps proportion the vaccine according to local needs as covishield and Covaxin is being tightly regulated by central govt. we can approach friendly nations like Canada to sponsor it also. Where there is a will there is a way

Earlier philosophy was promise less and deliver more .. Now opposite ... Because public memory is short .. How many remember Tika utsav April Record on yoga day Life goes on .. other issues come in ..by then .. If there is a simple mathematical calculation there is no need of misleading Daily Vaccine production vs demand

Appears govt has confused in respect of vaccination policy. Many affluent segments got vaccination free of cost while those really deserve it had paid the cost at variety of rates at different hospitals.Govt has no concern for senior citizens proved in vaccination.policy.What is the problem in fixing up moderate policy instead of looting one section and paying other section. Is there a thing called sense for policy makers?
