Bengaluru, Jul 1: Karnataka on Thursday, Jul 1 registered 3,203 new coronavirus cases.
As per the bulletin released by the state health department, the active cases in the state stand at 65,312. Bengaluru Urban's single-day tally is 676.
As many as 94 deaths due to coronavirus were reported in the state on Thursday, with Bengaluru Urban alone recording 18 deaths and Ballari 6. With this, the death toll so far has risen to 35,134.
The state recorded 14,302 discharges from hospitals, taking the total discharges so far to 27,46,544.
So far, Karnataka has seen 28,47,013 positive cases since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.
The positivity rate for the day stands at 2.05% while the case fatality rate for the day is 2.93%.
As many as 2,28,17,219 people have received vaccination so far.
