Bengaluru: U-turn by BJP-led state government - Decides to support ACB

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, Jun 29: The BJP government has now extended support to the decision taken by the previous Congress regime to create an Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) by removing the right to conduct investigation against the corrupt people which earlier was vested with the Lokayukta.

Before coming to power, the BJP had repeatedly said that it would give back the power to investigate the corrupt people back to the Lokayukta, by taking it away from the ACB.

However, in a surprise move, it has decided to bat for the continuance of the ACB as it is. The BJP, which had supported the formation of ACB after coming to power, has reiterated its changed stand before the high court too.

It told the high court that it will issue an order making minor changes in the formation of the ACB shortly.

Both (ACB & Lokayukta) are one and same. Both institutions guard the rights of corrupt politicians and officials to loot the people and government. Only those who have not submitted the share will be caught & made to pay their share.

What is the need of such a bureau? If each politician / officer is an anti-currupt himself, there is no need of Anti Curruption Bureau. If politicians / officers are engaged in curruption, what can a bureau do under their influence. Totally waste..

Giving Power to X or Y organization does not Matter ..What matters the most is "how much corruption has reduced " in government offices . Do you have a statewise corruption index? Karnataka will win this prize without any match.

U Turn Sarkar BJP implements all congress plans, projects, ideas. In the event of claiming credit and beating it's own drums it fails miserably and falls in the ditch because it only knows the idea..but 0 development and implementation strategy.
