Daijiworld Media Network - Puttur (SP)

Puttur, Jun 29: Deeksha Shetty, a SSLC student, got information about the fact that dates for the SSLC examinations have been fixed. However, immediately after that, her house collapsed to the ground. Her explanation about the unexpected woe that befallen on the family has become viral in the social media.

The house of the student collapsed immediately after Deeksha came to know about the examination dates. Now, she is in a dilemma about preparing for the examination at a time carrying on with life itself has been posing a huge challenge.

Deeksha is the daughter of Gopal Shetty from Chikmmamudnoor village located within Bannur gram panchayat limits. She is a SSLC student of the government high school at Kombettu. A part of her house collapsed on June 28 due to heavy rains, and there is the risk of the roof too crumbling. The family is unable to even perform temporary repairs. Therefore, the family members have been temporarily shifted to the panchayat building.

Gopal Shetty suffers from leg pain, and he is unable to work. His wife, who is the only earning member, earns something by rolling beedis and working as a coolie. Deeksha's brother is a student. The collapsed house therefore poses a serious threat to her future ambitions and prospects.
