Udupi, Jun 25: Mohammed Zameer has been appointed president of Udupi district committee All India Rahul Gandhi brigade Congress formed here.

The appointment was made by state president M G Akhil Ahmed who also made appointments for various other posts in the district committee.

Akash Poojary was appointed vice president of the district committee while Mohammed Akram was appointed its chief secretary.

Elston Noronha, Amith Kumar, Keerthan Kumar, Christon Sheldon Aron, Misba and Gagan R Salian are the other appointees. Hassan Fayal is appointed as executive secretary, Vignesh Shetty as secretary, Rohith Poojary and Mohammed Niyaz are also appointed as secretaries by the district president on directions from the state president.

“The committee of enthusiastic youngsters began activities in order to strengthen the organization in the district,” said district president Mohammed Zameer.
