Mangaluru, Jun 8: A young girl has gone missing after she was questioned by her mother for talking excessively on the phone. The incident is reported in Balepuni under the limits of Konaje police station.

In this regard, the mother Meenakshi lodged a missing person complaint at the police station. It is said that Meenakshi had been to Mudipu city on June 6 at 7.30 am. At this time her daughter Deeksha was alone in the house.

Before leaving, Meenakshi had admonished Deeksha for spending hours on the phone talking. This is believed to be the reason for Deeksha to leave her home.

She left her home & fly but where she is living now. Either pre-planned but relatives or close friends would not support her in such a irrational or silly act. Only possibility is .... sorry we are not to speculate let the police break the clue as soon as possible. She is just a nymphet, (budding)

Deepika.... Please understand that your mom is fond of you and she advised only because she loves you very much. As a student you have to devote your time for studies and not on long phone calls. Retrace your steps child and go back home because you are loved very much by MOM and DAD

Basavanna, true that we were carrying pencil and pen and a note book. But we also remember that pen is mightier than mobile SMS. Purpose used to be served though bit delayed throgh postal service✌🤠

So if the pandemic would have at your time then we would have double the unemployed or more people going to middle east for jobs. Also I still get the age factor in use of technology?

Any addiction for that matter is same like that of drugs, alcohol, porn etc. Once addicted these things control you then no studies, no good grade, no interest at work, depression, fights, quarrels, disobedience, wrong friendship, someone making use of them, sickness then even suicides. (All because of some bad spirits attached to these who had lost their souls because of similar addictions or their bad karma.) So self control and parental control very much required to avoid waywardness of children and youth to stop falling into these type of social evils. Children and youth should know these things so even if they fall into these addictions, can come out of it quickly to avoid embarrassments for themselves also to their parents.

Parents need to learn to scold children cause I have heard some yelling at them that they were a mistake, they shouldn't have born, kids are unlucky for parents, etc. I feel many here will disagree with my comment but deep down they know its the truth.

Dear langoolacharya, decades back we used to roam with pen and pencil, but today children roam with mobile phones. World is moving forward, you can’t put more restrictions on children, parents have adjust with them, otherwise this is the result.

Jossey S.Nallasopara,You say mobile should be given only After 18?when did your children got the first mobile?Nowadays each child has one for their safety atleast ,when they go to school .But with only few facilities.THe rest depends upon Parents pocket.Nowadays this mobile is more than their school books and heart. How many children quarrelled because of mobile? How many even suicided because they couldnt afford mobile. Now at times of schooling only with help of digital is.One has to go with the times and make children understand its use.shouldnt use ugly bad words to specially teenies. We remember our times as teenies ,how we were getting angry when parents used to say dont play study ,or used to have keep a story book under the school book?Hope here this girl may come home and dont make .any silly things.Afterall all parents want their child not to go out of the way ,and many children miss use of it.I am sure her mother loved her and be safe .
