Mangaluru, Jun 8: A BJP leader has courted controversy by allegedly abusing a woman engineer of Karnataka State Water Board.

This incident reportedly took place at Mudipu on the outskirts of the city. Local BJP leader and BJP leader Asgar Mudipu, who is a lawyer by profession, is the person who has abused the woman engineer. He also obstructed the multi-village drinking water project in the process of abusing the engineer.

BJP leader Asgar also insulted the engineer by asking to show the order copy of the work to be done and threatened that one from BJP is enough to handle 100 members of Congress.

Verbally abusing the engineer, Asgar further said, “You took bribe and maligned the name of the government. One from Congress had cheated by digging a pit here. I will go to the court. You file a case or do whatever you want.”

The woman engineer promptly filed a case of insult using obscene words agaisnt the BJP leader at Konaje police station. The video of abuse by the BJP leader has gone viral on social media. This incident has taken place with regards to the work that is being undertaken by the Karnataka State Water Board from the grants of MLA U T Khader.
