Mangaluru, Feb 1: The muhurat ceremony of the Kannada-Tulu film ‘Kathe Kailasa’, directed by Suraj Shetty under the banner of Lakumi Cine Creations and Sri Kadali Cine Productions, was held at Kadri Temple.
Yakshadhruva Patla Foundation Trust’s founder-president Patla Satish Shetty performed the clap for the film and expressed confidence that Kathe Kailasa, under Suraj Shetty’s direction, will entertain audiences. He wished for the film’s swift completion and release.
Kadri Temple’s chief priest Raghavendra Bhat extended his blessings, while Sriranga Aithal lit the lamp. The event was graced by chief guests Prakash Pandeshwar, Kadri Navaneeth Shetty, Shashidhar Shetty, Mahaganapathi Transport’s R K Madhav Naik, Bal Jagannath Shetty, Ravi Rai Kalasa, Leelaksha Karkera, Pritam, Ajith Chowta Devasya, Sudesh Rai CA, CA Sunil, Prasad Rai Kallimar, Ratnakar Jain, Sudhakar Alva, Praveen Alva, Lion Vasant Shetty, Ashok DK, Lion Sridhar Raj Shetty, Harish Alva, Lion Chandrahas Rai, Mahabala Bhandary, and Ravishankar Rai.
Producers Kishore D Shetty, Purushottam Bhandary, Mohan Koppala, Pradeep Alva, and Divakar Shetty were also present.
The film’s technical team includes cinematographer Jayal Saman D’Souza, editor Pradeep Rao, and music director Naveen Shankar. The cast features Vismaya Vinayak, Mime Ramdas, Pushparaj Bollaar, Ganesh Acharya, Raghav Soori, Vinod Shetty, Navya Poojari, Divakar Kateel, Walter Nandalike, Kadri Navaneeth Shetty, Mohan Koppala, and Pradeep Alva.
The makers announced that Kathe Kailasa will be a comedy entertainer with a strong storyline and will be filmed entirely in and around Mangaluru over a 30-day schedule.
