Chikkamagaluru, Jun 2: The judge of the district first special additonal sessions court here has dismissed the anticipatory bail application filed by Gonibeedu police sub-inspector (PSI), Arjun, who has been accused of forcing a Dalit youth to drink the urine of another accused during the course of interrogation.
Arjun reportedly took away Puneet, who belongs to a Dalit community, on May 10 relating to a rape attempt complaint. Once they reached the police station, the youth was bound with a rope, and besides thrashing him, the sub-inspector forced Puneet to drink the urine of another youth who was in the station relating to theft charges, it was alleged. Puneet later had complained to senior police officers.
