Mangaluru/Udupi, May 27: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 555 fresh coronavirus cases on Thursday. While the total number of positive cases has risen to 73,099. This further has raised the number of active cases to 8,954.
A total of 8,38,534 samples have been tested. Out of which 7,65,435 are negative.
As many as 1695 people were discharged on Thursday, A total of 889 deaths have occurred so far, including 5 on Thursday.
A total of Rs 59,27,530 in fines have been collected so far, for 56,786 mask violations in the district.
Udupi
The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 32,495 including 905 fresh cases on Thursday. Out of these, 6,015 cases are currently active.
Over 5,79,342 samples have been tested so far.
As many as 753 patients were discharged on Thursday. A total of 318 deaths have occurred so far, including three on Thursday.
