Mumbai, Aug 21: A blood donation camp was held under the aegis of the Billavar Association of Goregaon and local Shiv Sena, at Lalit Hotel Crystal auditorium, Goregaon (West), on Friday August 20.  It was held on account of the 165th birth anniversary of Brahmasree Narayan Guru.
 
Subash Desai, Shiv Sena corporator of suburban Goregaon, inaugurated the camp on Thursday and emphasized the importance of blood for accident victims in case of emergencies. 
 

He appreciated the Billavar Association’s societal concern in organizing a blood donation camp besides supporting the education of economically-weaker students in the society.
 
Shiv Sena corporator Rajan Padye, Shiv Sena sub-division former chief Deepak Surve, Billavar Association–Goregaon local committee executive president Jagannat V Kotian, vice-president L R Anchan, secretary Sacchindra Kotian, and treasurer Pratap Kotian were present.
 
Association secretary Jyothi K Suvarna, Kandivali local committee president Gangadar J Poojary, Shanker Poojary Malad, Shambavi Suvarna, Pushpa Amin, Girija Poojary, Sujatha Kotian, Vishwanath Tonse, Bhasker Bangera, and Sadashiv Karkera were present on the occasion.
