Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (SP)

Mangaluru, May 18: A private bus that had been parked by the road side near Mangaladevi due to the ongoing curfew, burnt down partially.

It is said that the bus caught fire at about 2 am on Tuesday May 18. The bus was gutted partly. Some other buses which were parked nearby escaped without any damage.

These buses had been lined up by the roadside as they are not doing the routine trips because of the lockdown, it is gathered.

Even though exact cause for the fire could not be ascertained immediately, it is guessed that short circuit would have done the damage.
