Udupi: Anisha Picardo Barkur secures 17th rank in All India GATE Architecture Exam

Udupi, Apr 6: Anisha Christina Picardo of Barkur secured the 17th rank in the All India GATE Architecture exam.

Anisha was honoured at St Peter's Church, Barkur after Easter mass, along with her parents, Denis and Judith Picardo recently.

Anisha completed her high school studies at SMS English Medium School, Brahmavar. She completed her PUC at SMS PU College, Brahmavar and secured 92% marks.

She completed her BArch degree from MIT, Manipal in 2019.

Anisha appeared for the GATE Architecture exam this year and secured the 17th rank in the All India level.

Fr Philip Neri Aranha, parish priest, Fr Wilfred Rodrigues OCD, assistant director of Retreat Center, Ranipura, Sr Jasmitha Crasta superior of IHM Convent, Herald D'Souza, vice-president, Evet Lewis, secretary, Eric Soans co-ordinator of commissions, Praveen Carvalho, convenor of Youth Commission, Anet Suares, convenor of Education Commission were present during the occasion.

    All the best to her for securing 17th rank. Of course I am looking forward to perform architecture duties in her career. 17th rank is just a rank but the real rank comes when they perform in the real world and it is called "Career".
