Mangalore: Yaksha Kalanidhi Award for Artistes Kumble, Soorikumeri

Mangalore, Jul 23: Veteran Yakshagana artistes Kumble Sunder Rao and Soorikumeri Govinda Bhat have been selected for the Yaksha Kalanidhi award for 2010 bestowed by Academy of Tenkutittu Yakshagana, New Delhi.

The award will be presented to the duo in a programme to be held at the Town Hall here on October 16. The award comprises Rs 12,000 and citation.

At the award presentation ceremony, documentary on the lives of the duo will be screened.
