Mangalore, Jul 17: The members of BJP Yuva Morcha, Dakshina Kannada district held a protest in front of the Gandhiji statue near Town Hall here on Saturday July 17.
BJP committee president Shreekar Prabhu said that the protest conducted at legislative assembly by the opposition party was not a right move for BJP government is concerned about the development projects and carried out development that the Congress cannot match up to despite several terms of administration in the past.
BJP district Mahila Morcha member Prasanna Ravi said that the Congress wants to topple the BJP government by protesting in the assembly, which is not a responsible way showing disagreement or expressing opinion. She urged the Congress to help the BJP government to take forward the development works initiated by the ruling party.
Two people wore a mask of Former Prime minister and JD (S) supreme Deve Gowda and Congress party leader Siddaramaiah were mocked at with party workers wearing their masks.
BJP Yuva Morcha member Thilakraj, BJP district president Padmanabha Kottari, district chief of Yuva Morcha Kishore Kumar, Chandrahas Ullal, corporator Rupa D Bangera, district BJP secretary Satish Kumpala, general secretary of BJP Yuva Morcha Rajesh Shetty and general secretary of BJP Mahila Morcha Sumana Sharan were also present.
