Mangalore: Dr B S N Prasad takes over as IT Commissioner

Mangalore, Jul 17: Dr B S N Prasad took over as the new income tax commissioner of the city circle on Friday July 16, in tune with the orders recently issued by the Central Bureau of Direct Taxes, New Delhi.

Dr Prasad had been functioning as the income tax commissioner (appeals) in the city since about a year. In the past, he had held various positions in places like Hubli, Nagpur and Bangalore. He had also served in Indian Council of Agricultural Research and Indian Air Force.

Dr Prasad, who has a doctorate in economics, is also a member of the Australian Institute of Certified Management Accountants.
