Nightclubs raided in North Goa, NCB arrests five for possession of drugs

Panaji, Mar 14: Narcotics Control Bureau and Goa crime branch has raided three nightclubs in North Goa and arrested five people for the alleged possession of drugs.

The NCB zonal director Sameer Wankhede said raids were conducted at Larive Veach Resort, Shiva Valley and Monkey Bar and Restaurant at Vagator, Ozran in North Goa. The five arrested include a Swedish national.

The joint operation confiscated LSD in commercial quantity (35 blots), 33 grams of mephedrone, 5.1 grams of heroin, marijuana, MDMA tablets and hashish.
