Bengaluru, Mar 14: Special Investigation Team (SIT) on Saturday, March 13 raided the houses of three people out of the five who have been taken into custody in connection with Ramesh Jarkiholi sex CD case.

SIT has also intensified search for the two absconding accused. It is said that they are identified with political leaders. Search is on for absconding suspects in neighbouring Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.
The accused had uploaded the CD from Bengaluru and made it look as if it was uploaded from Russia through Virtual Private Network (VPN). SIT collected crucial information from the accused, who are under their custody, during the eight-hour long interrogation on Friday.
Police have come to know that the mobile phones of two of the accused who are absconding went on switched-off mode at Gauribidanur two days ago. SIT has information that they are hiding in Andhra Pradesh or Tamilnadu.
SIT is also making preparations to serve notice to Dinesh Kallahalli. Dinesh had said with Cubbon Park police that a stranger had handed over the CD to him. Prima facie it has come to light that only one among the five accused taken into custody has handed over the CD. Based on his information SIT is going to serve notice to Kallahalli and interrogate him.
