Mangaluru, Mar 12: The new branch of Allen Career Institute was launched in a grand event at Hotel Ocean Pearl on Friday March 12.
Addressing the gathering, pro-chancellor of NITTE University Dr Shantharam Shetty said, “It is a privilege for me to be part of the launching ceremony of Allen Career Institute. Allen, which is based in Kota Rajasthan, has a population of 10 lac, while Mangaluru has a population of 4.7 lac. Mangaluru has several educational institutions for its population. People of Mangaluru are more versatile as we find them in every corner of the world having a vast impact as a whole. Teaching profession is the most satisfying profession ever. It is a God given gift. One has to make best use of ability.”
Chairman Vikaas Group of Institutions J Krishna Palemar said, “I welcome Allen Career Institute to Mangaluru. Dakshina Kannada is known as an educational hub and Allen has added a feather to the cap of the district.
Vice-president Allen Career Institute, Kota Pankaj Agarwal said, “Mangaluru is Allen’s 41st centre. Mangaluru is the academic capital of the state. Whenever the results are out, Mangaluru name comes on the top. For the first 25 years after our inception, we were at Kota. Then we started expanding all over the country starting from Ahmedabad and Chandigarh in 2013. In 2015 we stepped into Bengaluru. Ten times in the last 12 years, students of Allen have topped NEET and JEE. In Mangaluru, we will try our best to produce good results.”
Academic head – South India Allen Career Institute, Mahesh Yadav, and centre head – Mangaluru Allen Career Institute, Vipin Narayan was also present.
Thirty-three years ago, Allen Career Institute started its mentoring journey at Kota Rajasthan with a handful of students. This initiative is the brain child of the sincere academician Rajesh Maheshwari who dreamt of bringing Kota style of mentoring to the aspirants aiming to make a mark in premier national and state level pre-engineering and pre-medical entrance examinations.
In the year 2021, Allen Career Institute has launched its prestigious classroom programme in association with Vikaas Group of Institutions at Mangaluru. Students studying in class 8 to 12th pass from engineering and medical stream would be availing the time tested and result oriented mentoring programmes of Allen Career Institute in various national and international Olympiads, IITJEE, NEET (UG) examinations.
