Belagavi, Mar 5: Rajanahalli Sri Valmiki Gurupeeeta head, Sri Valmiki Prasannananda Swamiji, said that Jarkiholi has become a victim of political conspiracy. He has urged chief minister B S Yediyurappa, to admit him back into the cabinet.
Speaking at a press meet on Thursday March 4, the Swamiji said that he is surprised at the fact that the governor has accepted Jarkiholi's resignation.
MLA, Renukacharya, said that Ramesh Jarkiholi is a good man and therefore he extends support to him. "I shed tears when I came to know that he had resigned. I am pained at the plight of his family. I neither say Ramesh is an accused nor guilty. The affected lady has not personally filed the complaint," he pointed out.
There is information that Dinesh Kallahalli had met a person in a lodge at Gandhinagar here a day prior to filing complaint. The police suspect that the man whom he met possibly gave the CD to Dinesh. The scene of the relatives of the affected lady handing over CD to Dinesh has been captured by the CCTV cameras of the hotel. Cubbon Park police and city crime branch police have collected footages of these cameras.
In the meantime, social activist Prashanth Kumar, has complained to the police against Dinesh. He said that the videos were edited and probably it was a case of honeytrap and asked the police to investigate the same in detail. Dinesh said he could not attend the probe on Thursday as he is being followed and he is getting threatening calls from Jarkiholi and people close to him. He said he would be able to attend questioning session on March 9. On the basis of his complaint, two policemen have been posted near his residence.
Sathish Jarkiholi said that the lady has to be questioned by serving her notice. He said the matter is personal issue of Ramesh Jarkiholi and not a family affair. He also said that Ramesh has not been heeding to the advice of anyone else but his son-in-law Ambirao Patil.
