"ICYM Golden Jubilee committee has successfully completed 47 programs despite the hardships brought on by the pandemic. Some programs entertain our body but this event will entertain us spiritually. It gives us divine experiences. We take ourselves to God. Jesudas comes to Kollur temple every year on his birthday. Fr Charles Vaz started with bhajans. This is a good experiment during Lent to attain divine experiences. A flute is an inanimate object but a musician gives life to it. This is a permanent experience. Music cannot be learnt overnight, courage is needed to attend this program," said Fr Denis D’Sa.
Fr Stany Lobo on the occasion said, "This is a unique program as there is focus on spiritual aspects as well. Along with materialistic pleasures, we need to also think about spiritual fulfilment. This event will fill our hearts with joy. I wish Reuben all the success in his future projects."
The event had Trevan Pereira, Sandeep Rodrigues playing the guitar, violin by Vinissa Tauro, Richard Machado was on keyboards, the flute and the trumpet was by Reuben Machado.
Richard Machado in his message said, "We had a dream to play for the spiritual show. I thank everyone for making this happen."
Reuben Machado was honoured on the occasion.
Melwyn D'Souza welcomed the gathering, Maria Pereira compered the show.
