Cops arrest one for assaulting three GoaMiles drivers

Panaji, Feb 10: A taxi owner from Anjuna, Yogesh Govekar was taken into custody for allegedly assaulting and injuring three GoaMiles drivers at Calangute.

Govekar alias Mogambo, was arrested from Anjuna on Monday evening, February 8. However, he was later released on bail.

Suresh Naik and Mohammad Nadaf, the two GoaMiles drivers lodged complaints with Calangute police. In the complaint, they said that the accused along with six others had assaulted them and one more GoaMiles driver when they had come to pick up and drop passengers in Calangute.
