Mangaluru, Feb 7: A man was attacked by a group of six unidentified miscreants near Lalbagh on Sunday, February 7 at 9:45 pm.
The injured has been identified as Deepak. According to the victim, the accused came in on two bikes. The attack on Deepak left him with an injury on his left forearm.
The incident took place near Pabbas ice cream parlour at Lalbagh.
Miscreants who noticed a Shivaji sticker on Deepak's two-wheeler and upon realising that he was a Hindu activist, attacked him, said sources.
Deepak who suffered injuries has been admitted to Wenlock hospital. Mangaluru MLA Vedyvyas Kamath visited Deepak in the hospital and directed police to nab the culprits at the earliest.
The case took place in Urva police station limits.
