This is not neu in this scene.People runaway when found something is wrong .Here I dont doubt Police but gangs own people.Where was the car parked ?In open place or was in safe in garage? When not their own people with a second hand key, must have abducted it at night ,and now claim car .when car is not found Police have to pay a big amount, which they might have planned.Such people are prepared for everything.send a drone and search for it.Send special agents .OR car had been already takenout ,so that nobody can find it.If you have serial numbers ,search and you will find it

Its best to seize the assets of the police personnel and auction and sell it and the recover such dues.. Should see if the administration has got the guts to do this with such influential culprits.

Imho, the names of the corrupt cops should be made public as this a serious offense wherein cops themselves are indulging in criminal activity thus indirectly encouraging potential criminals!

Such corrupt cops should be suspended as transferring seems to be no punishment at all; and if the case is proven they should be dismissed permanently!

BTW, what sort of example are the guardians of law setting on impressionable minds?

    In short this is disgusting?

When the cops offered to close the case the criminals told them to dispose the cars & they went ahead & disposed of a car for lacs; can one imagine that it was the handiwork of only two cops when such a big deal was being done?
Surely there might be a procedure to get a seized article out wherein the permission of the top bosses is compulsory; this means what please think for yourselves; very appalling indeed!
This is what might be happening to most of the seized contraband!
Due to all these corrupt people, major crimes are taking place!
