Mangaluru, Feb 2: The sleuths of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) raided the residence of Mangaluru City Corporation (MCC) town planning joint director K V Jayaraj on Tuesday February 2.
The raid was carried out at four places including Jayaraj’s residences at Kapikad and Bejai in Mangaluru, father's residence, Jayaraj’s wife's quaters in Mahe and his office at MCC building.
The raid was carried out under the guidance ACB SP Bopaiah DySP Prakash, and inspectors Sham Sundar and Gururaj.

The officer is alleged to have assets disproportionate to his income in Mangaluru and Kerala.
According to sources, ACB sleuths of Udupi and Chikkamagaluru took part in the raid.
Disproportionate asset cases were registered in Bengaluru city, Bellary, Kolar, Dharwad, Dakshina Kannada, Chitradurga and Kalaburagi district against seven government servants. Searches started in 30 places under the supervision of ACB SPs.
Other officers’ whose properties were raided are Devraj Kallesh, Minor Irrigation department, Shiggavi, Dharwad; Pandurang Garag, joint registrar, cooperatives, Malleshwaram, Bengaluru; Dr S N Vijaykumar, DHO, Kolar; Dr Srinivas, HOD, Pharmacology, KIMS, Koppal; Channabasappa Avati, JE, PWD, Magadi subdivision, and Srinivas, ACF, Dharwad.
