Mangaluru, Feb 1: Shivaji Jeevarakshaka Eejugarara Sangha (Shivaji Lifeguard Swimmers Association) Ullal member Kunal Ameen and coast guard staff Kiran risking their lives rescued four people of a family who were getting swept away in the sea at Mogaveerapatna, Ullal on the evening of Monday, February 1.

The family had arrived from Nizamuddin Colony, Dharwad to visit a Dargah in Ullal.


Mohammed Gouse

The couple Mohammed Gouse, Reshma, Gouse's nephew Nizam and the couple's child Nishma had got swept away while playing in the seashore as the sea was rough.

    HUMANITY is the only the True Religion. These 4 members of the same family Mohammed Gouse, Reshma, Gouse's nephew Nizam and the couple's child Nishma should be ever grateful for rest of your life to the rescue members Kunal Ameen and coast guard staff Kiran for saving your life.

    Visitors from upcountry, not exposed to sea get mesmerised on the first exposure to sea and waves. They take risks despite warning by beach-gourds. Thank God all the four were saved.
    Others who defy the guards are those high on alcohol. Besides saving the drowning, there should be heavy spot fine or 24-hour detention in the police station to curb adventurism defying advice of beach guards.
